Terms and Conditions

Welcome to FuntourChina! By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully to ensure a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.

1. Booking and Payment

Reservation: A deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Full payment is due 30 days before the tour departure date.
Late Bookings: Bookings made less than 30 days prior to departure require immediate full payment.
Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card, PayPal, and bank transfer. All payments must be made in USD.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Customer-Initiated Cancellations:
- More than 30 days before departure: Full refund, minus deposit.
- 15–29 days before departure: 50% of the total price is refunded.
- Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.
FuntourChina Cancellations: If we must cancel a tour for unforeseen reasons, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your payment to a future tour.

3. Changes to Itinerary

Itinerary Adjustments: We reserve the right to make minor changes to the itinerary if necessary for operational or safety reasons. Significant changes will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
Unforeseen Circumstances: In case of force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics), we will make every effort to adapt the itinerary, though additional costs may apply.

4. Health and Safety Requirements

Travel Insurance: All participants are required to have travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellations, and personal liability. Proof of insurance may be requested before departure.
Health Declaration: Due to health and safety regulations, travelers may need to submit a health declaration or show proof of vaccination, especially if government-mandated requirements are in place.
Fitness Level: Some tours may require a moderate level of physical fitness. Participants should assess their health and physical ability for the activities involved.

5. Responsibilities and Liability

Customer Responsibility: Travelers must adhere to local laws, customs, and regulations during the tour. FuntourChina is not liable for any injuries or damages caused by the participant’s non-compliance.
FuntourChina Responsibility: We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience, but cannot be held liable for injuries, loss of personal items, or disruptions due to external factors beyond our control (e.g., strikes, weather, third-party services).
Third-Party Services: FuntourChina may partner with local service providers for transportation, accommodation, and other services. While we select these partners carefully, we are not liable for their actions or omissions.

6. Visas and Travel Documents

Visa Requirements: Travelers are responsible for obtaining the necessary visas and travel documents. FuntourChina can provide guidance but does not offer visa processing services.
Passport Validity: Passports should be valid for at least six months beyond the travel dates. Any issues related to invalid travel documents are the traveler’s responsibility.

7. Photography and Media Consent

By joining our tours, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in any materials, please inform us at the beginning of the tour.

8. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

In-Tour Issues: Please raise any concerns directly with your guide or tour leader. We will strive to resolve issues on the spot.
Post-Tour Complaints: Complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 days after the tour ends. We aim to address all concerns fairly and promptly.
Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of China. Any disputes arising from these terms will be settled in a court located in China.

9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

FuntourChina reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website.
